When you visit Gillman Home Center in Brookville, Indiana, you are pleasantly welcomed by the variety of pets we sell. Gillman Home Center in Brookville’s most popular items are our puppies. We have become very successful in selling ckc and akc registered puppies from local breeders in the small breed varieties such as Chihuahua, Yorkie, Dachshund, Maltese, Shih-Tzu, Miniature Schnauzer, Poodle, Yorkie-Shaun, Morkie, Scottie, Westie, Basset Hound, and Pomeranian. Besides puppies, Gillman Home Center in Brookville offers mice, hamsters, guinea pigs, a variety of birds, and occasionally degus and chinchillas. For the spring we bring in bunnies, baby chicks and fish. Our kittens are always free to a good home.
Caring for your new pet
Not only can you purchase your new pets at Gillman Home Center, but we have all the items you need to care for your pets. Items including indoor and outdoor cages and fencing, portable carriers, collars and leashes, shampoos, brushes, pet beds and bedding, medicines, toys, and treats. We carry many kinds of pet food including brands such as Nutro Max, Diamond, Pedigree, Purina, Kaytee and Friskees. If you like to dress up your pet like Paris Hilton’s dog, Tinkerbell, we have dog clothes for every occasion and strollers to show them off in. All the items you would need for an indoor aquarium or an outdoor pond are also available to purchase.
Livestock and supplies
If you have larger animals to care for, we also carry tack and supply for horses and cattle. A few medications are available and calf milk re-placer. We also carry many kinds of feed for your livestock including llamas and alpaca, goats, horse, chicks, rabbits, sheep and lambs, pigs, and cattle. If you need to contain your cattle, we can help you out with outdoor fencing and posts, electric fence, and also a brand new barn.
Birds and feeders
Don’t forget your outdoor wildlife! Pick up some bird houses and seed for the wild birds and feeders for your hummingbirds.
